The project Social Transmission of Cognitive and Emotional States in the Care of Alzheimer’s Disease Patients” – STAD benefits from a 1.48 million € grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants. The aim of the project is to to develop an intervention based on theater and drama therapy for diminishing memory loss and psychiatric symptoms, like anxiety, that manifest in Alzheimer’s disease. STAD Project Annual meeting. Phase II of the project – 2020

On September 22, 2020, the annual meeting took place, at partnership level, within the STAD project. The meeting was held online, given the pandemic context and benefited from the participation of the entire project team (employees and volunteers).

The director of the project and the leader of the Norwegian partner, Mrs. Dr. Ioana Carcea, respectively Mr. Dr. Christian Doeller, coordinated the meeting. The current stage of the project was presented, the project management measures in the pandemic context were inventoried and the steps to be followed were established. The conclusion was that although there are delays caused by the pandemic context, they can and will be recovered by the end of the project.
